How It Began
NeuroSaeculum began May 6, 2025, when research by cognitive scientist Leor Zmigrod revealed a link between ideology and neurochemistry.
After reading a review of The Ideological Brain, I spent seven hours with AI synthesizing her findings with Strauss & Howe’s Fourth Turning theory.
The result was Hidden Circuitry of the Four Turnings — the first framework mapping how individual brain chemistry aggregates into civilizational behavior.
From that synthesis, companion systems evolved to explain, measure, and strengthen society’s feedback loops.

About the Author
Gary Kephart is a software engineer and political organizer who founded Canyon Democrats (750 members, $40 K annual budget) and created the Encyclopaedia WoT, the reference standard for The Wheel of Time used by the series’ author and editors.
