Core Definition

A Restorative Feedback Loop is an institutional design pattern in which corrective signals once again produce real improvement, restoring trust, learning, and adaptive capacity.

In systems recovering from capture, this pattern reverses feedback inversion by re-establishing transparency, redundancy, and aligned incentives.
Behavior that improves outcomes is rewarded; behavior that extracts without repair is penalized.

The system transitions from decay-reinforcing survival loops back into learning and renewal loops.
