Chat Index

I, Gary, mainly use ChatGPT and secondarily Claude for primary development of NS. Other AIs might be used as “review” AIs.There are chats on each one of the AI systems. I am striving to name the chats the same across AI systems for my own sanity. But the amount of chats, and the purpose and status of each of them is a lot of information to carry around in my head. There have been times when I have temporarily lost good ideas because I spin up new chats on an ad-hoc basis which pushes older chats further down my memory queue.

The purpose of this page is to identify most chats by listing them here by name, providing a short description and also a status. Some sort of grouping of chat will also be attempted.

General Chats

These are long lasting chats, or series of chats, on more generic subjects. Some of them will end with a numeric value, like “NS Arch 3”, to designate their relation. Continuation chats are necessary as each chat reaches its max size. When a new continuation chat is started, the sequence number specified here should be updated so that the name of the current chat in the series is the one listed.

  • NeuroSaeculum 12 – the project-wide NS discussion space: framework-level architecture, alignment, project direction, and “about NeuroSaeculum itself” rather than one narrow subsystem
  • NS Arch 3 – for discussion the NS architecture itself. Separate from NS Web Architecture.
  • NS Articles 1 – for discussing and writing NS articles that don’t require their own chat. I think this can be different than NS Editorial Architecture.
  • NS CivMMI 1 – as named. Not much discussion here, but available for it.
  • NS CivTop 1 – for discussion of Civic Topology (CivTop). Create new CivTop elements not created by NS News Discussion or NS Related Articles. Also for things like turning future topo areas into active ones.
  • NS Cortex 7 – for discussing the Cortex field (CTM, etc, but not CT Monitor)
  • NS CT Monitor 12 – for generating the CT Monitor logs
  • NS Editorial Architecture 1 (was NS Articles) – Transitional/coordination chat for defining NS artifact types, article roles, audience routing, publication sequencing, random-entry reader behavior, glossary implications, and how public-facing outputs fit into the broader NS ecosystem
  • NS First Foundation3 – for discussing First Foundation and its patterns
  • NS Marketing 4 – for the marketing of NS
  • NS News Discussion 5 – for discussing current events and deciding if they rise to the level of a CT Monitor log entry or a NS News report
  • NS Operations Workflow 1 – for discussing how NS work gets produced, maintained, repeated, scheduled, reviewed, and published
  • NS Project Mgmt 4 – for project management, but this does not provide a truly persistent list, so I’m migrating to Toodledo
  • NS Related Articles 9 – discusses articles in the wild that might be related to NS. They might contribute to CivTop, FF or some other field, and also might spawn an article or an NS News report or maybe a reply to the original article. Also has “buckley article ns diagnostic validation report” info in it (/using-neurosaeculum/ns-validation-protocol/)
  • NS Renewal 1 – discussion about the Renewal field.
  • NS Web Architecture 3 – for discussing how the NS WP site is laid out/structured, taking into account audience routing. Also for “Content Workflow” development which will move to the NS Operations Workflow chat.

Prompts for new versions (sequence numbers) of these chats are available at the Chat Initialization Page.

Active Focused Chats

This are chats that are focused on a single subject for a specific duration. Once finished, they can be renamed with a “-Done” suffix.

  • Athenian Civilization Forensics – as the name describes
  • Exploitable Republic – for the book by the same name
  • Fed / Rates / Housing Affordability – for a CivTop topo area. There’s room to expand it although the main work is done
  • Forensic Assessment of Great Park – Discussing Orange County’s Great Park
  • Gary’s Books as Resources – investigating if any books in Gary’s personal library, like “Consumed”, could be used as resources for articles
  • Money as Leverage – it’s not speech. One of the mechanisms that shaped the current Crisis
  • NS Adoption and AI – People being amazed not by NS but by having an audio chat with AI in the first place
  • NS US Civ Forensics – explain US history from 1850 on in an NS manner. Can be then used as a source for NS books
  • NS Style Commentary Sources – discussing which news services are close to NS (like The Atlantic, Vox…) to maybe use as sources for CivTop, FF or articles
  • OCPA Forensics Intake – for a possible forensics assessment of OCPA.
  • Political and Economic Systems – which one(s) are the best for a country and how NS fits into that.
  • Project Atlas – for an internal project related to CPI, GDP and SNA
  • Renewal & Stewardship parties – took the Renewal Party Concept chat forward and in a slightly different direction
  • Willful Ignorance in Politics – for a new CivTop topo area

Finished Chat

  • Haidt and NS Overlap – moved to “Willful Ignorance in Politics”
  • Renewal Party Concept – for discussing rebuilding vs stewardship. On pause for now.

I’m not going to list all of the chats that are done. Many of those are named well enough that I can tell they are done at a glance. Some are so far back in history that I might as well start over in a new chat.
